All the children were captivated for the full time. The Tornado races was enjoyed by all, along with the sweet making and especially the slime! Scientific Sophie was fantastic, I am sorry I didn't get to say a proper thank you to her on the day. Please can you pass on my thanks to her, Alex had a fabulous time and so did his friends. The neighbours enjoyed it too!

The way the children were kept interested from start to finish as there was no time for them to get bored and wander off because they'd miss something good if they weren't paying attention was excellent. The sweet making and slime went down really well. All the children left the party saying it was one of the best they had been to. Scientific Sophie has a way with children which I haven't seen other in a classroom, as they all just did as she asked straight away and joined in with things willingly.

Prompt, friendly and a great entertainer Radioactive Ralph kept the kids enthralled for the whole hour. They all absolutely loved the experiments, making their own sweets and slime. A party to remember and from a parent's perspective, money very happily spent. Radioactive Ralph was fantastic! Very personable, great with the kids, controlled the party very well and kept them all entertained whilst educating at the same time. Would definitely recommend to friends! Dealing with Marc over logistics and costs was easy and efficient, great customer communication, liked on the online invitations etc. All in all, am delighted and would use again when the kids are a bit older for a different perspective on science!

We liked 1.The unique nature of the party. 2. The children were entertained without exception for a whole 75 minutes. 3. It demonstrated how science can be fun and inspirational a subject that is sometimes perceived as 'boring'. I did not see all of the experiments, however what I did see engaged the children completely. There was enough variety. I liked the fact that the children participated and were encouraged to think about how the experiments worked. It was fun.
Radioactive Ralph was very good at dealing with the children and making sure that every child was included, whether they shouted the loudest or not.

The children enjoyed the rockets, slime and sweet making. There were lots of squeals of excitement and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. Scientific Sophie kept the children captivated for the whole time. Amazing! I would definitely recommend her to anyone considering a scientific themed party. Scientific Sophie was excellent at engaging the kids, making them laugh and smile throughout. The kids liked the hands on experiments the best, with a pretty even split between who liked the slime and sweet making the best. Any further comments?: Overall a good mix of demonstrations (which still involved the kids) and hands on activities. The kids loved it and so did the parents. A couple of them came up and said it was the best party they had been too.

Just to say we thought the party was absolutely fantastic! Lively Laura held the attention of 24 children, some quite lively ones for over an hour!! Something we couldn't have done. A big thumbs up to Lively Laura who kept entertained 15 mostly five year old children at our twins birthday party. The kids loved it, the adults loved it & their was no clearing up to do afterwards. Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to Mad Marc & Radioactive Ralph. Everyone at the party thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole party was fantastic! The children were totally captivated. The Goo making was a real hit ! Mhairi & her friends had a fantastic time at her party & so did the adults! Isaac particularly enjoyed the rocket science and goo making. This is his own quote "my science party was the best party I have ever been to!” I thought Scientific Sophie excellent. She was able to hold the attention of 11 really excited 5 and 6 year olds (and a 3 year old) for an hour and a half. They were completely enthralled with the facts, the processes and the opportunity to join in. It made my job very easy, just food and party bags to organise! Scientific Sophie was incredibly well organised and very personable. She arrived promptly half an hour before the party and had everything ready for the event before the guest arrived. She spent some time chatting to the birthday boy and his cousin and put Isaac at his ease about what was going to happen without giving away any scientific secrets. We had the extended 1.5 hour party and Sophie had the complete attention of the group for the whole time and was really good at getting the boys to participate, even the shy ones. The kids loved making their own sweets and the rockets were a real highlight for everyone. I have had several of the Mums tell me how much their child enjoyed the party and how nice it was to have something different.

Where to start?! ALL of the experiments were excellent fun! in terms of what the kids liked best I’ve had a lot of good feedback about the sweets and the slime, so I guess they like the hands on stuff best, but Aidan certainly enjoyed watching ALL the other stuff too. Very professional - arrived on time, everything so meticulously organised. tidying away was done so sleekly i hardly even noticed!! pre- and post- party organisation and communication were impeccable!

Really impressed with the effort that went into the presentation; how hard the presenter worked to get children engaged. We had a variety of ages at Ellin’s party from 5 (her brother) through to her 9 year friends and of course some just a little older at 10 & 11 yet the party captured and entertained them all. (and the adults that stayed loved it as well) Can’t think of anything else that would span such an age bracket as well and seamlessly. Our teacher/presenter kept all the children calm and interested and the pace was fast to retain all the children’s attention. Great balance of science, fun, interactivity & games.

We just wanted to say thanks very much again for an excellent party yesterday; everyone thought it was brilliant (children and adults!). The interaction with the children was great; they were kept interested and under control – neither thing is easy to do! All of it went down well but they seemed to really love the balls floating in the air and the use of the smoke to show the movement of air. Both the goo and the sherbet were also big hits.

The children really loved making the gooey slime and enjoyed taking it away to show their families afterwards. Some of the kids even took their slime into school the next day to show their friends who weren’t at the party! They also loved the rocket finale in the garden – very exciting! Nice touch to give the kids name badges so you could speak to them by name during the demonstrations. My son was very happy with the whole event, and as he is a rather shy child he was happy that all the other children were joining in too and he wasn’t put on the spot by himself. But although he wasn’t in the limelight, you always approached the birthday boy first to look or touch or have a go, which was very sweet as he felt special without having to take a prominent role. I would certainly recommend you to friends. The party was really unusual and the kids were interested because you were doing different stuff they hadn’t seen before. You had a very nice and engaging manner with the kids, managing to keep them under control even though they were full of beans!

It was amazing, and our 5 year-old son and his friends had a great time. I was dubious as to how you were going to entertain 20+ children for over an hour but they were entranced and all had a blast. Absolutely EVERYTHING!!! The fact that the kids were learning something the whole time and they didn’t even realise it!! Marc asked them questions about all his experiments which made them think and they were all able to have a go themselves which kept them interested through the whole party as they didn’t know what they would be asked to do next!! Marc, the kids haven’t stopped talking about the party and I believe (although possibly bias) that it was the best kids party I’ve ever been to! The mums that stayed also thought so. How you managed to keep 16 8year olds completely under control and interested is beyond me!! Thank you. I have told everyone I know about you so hopefully you should be hearing from them soon.

There was good variation of indoor and outdoor interactive activities that were also educational. The adults enjoyed it too! Marc was very organised, professional, patient and nice. My son is the youngest in his class and throughout the year we have been to many parties but once you have seen one clown, magician etc they are all pretty similar, some we had seen twice as there aren’t many in the area. I wanted something different. I have had so many people comment on how good and different the party was. Some have even thanked me for inviting their child as they had enjoyed it so much. Not sure how I am going to top it next year!

The children were enthralled all the way through and extremely well entertained! The experiments were educational but great fun. Due to the good weather, Marc was keen to do some things outside which helped to vary things and keep the children’s attention. He had very good rapport with the children and encouraged their participation. All the children enjoyed the party! One parent told me that her child usually refused party invitations but was really excited about this one due to the Sublime Science theme – he thoroughly enjoyed himself! My daughter had a brilliant 7th birthday party – in fact, probably the best ever!

The experiments and demonstrations were tailored exactly right for twenty bright, lively 4- and 5-year-olds, appealing to all five senses. There were things to taste, touch, smell, see and hear in the space of an hour. The adults (including one who had taught at primary level for 40 years, and one who was himself a physicist) were amazed how well you were able to keep the rapt attention of the children for a whole hour. The pace never flagged and their enthusiasm never waned. The invitations, thank you notes, certificate and take-away slime were a great idea and much admired. Marc made science fun and (although I hate this word) ‘cool’ – as it should be. Marc occupied an average-sized living room with experiment paraphernalia, but left behind no mess - only a roomful of delighted, excited children.

The wide variety of experiments and the smooth way the whole session flowed was fantastic. The children especially loved the smoke rings. It’s great as it is, especially the way you adapt it to suit the audience. It’s no mean feat to occupy 24 lively five year olds but you managed it. It’s made a lasting impression on some of them- one little boy has spent the rest of the weekend trying to do “magic science tricks”! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sublime Science.
