This party worked brilliantly for a mixed age group of nine 5 year olds, a couple of 4’s, a 6, and three 8 year olds. We thought Marc was completely on their wavelength – his enthusiasm is fantastic!!!! Loved the slime, the rockets, in fact the children were fully absorbed by it all.

The experiments and demonstrations were tailored exactly right for twenty bright, lively 4- and 5-year-olds, appealing to all five senses. There were things to taste, touch, smell, see and hear in the space of an hour. The adults (including one who had taught at primary level for 40 years, and one who was himself a physicist) were amazed how well you were able to keep the rapt attention of the children for a whole hour. The pace never flagged and their enthusiasm never waned. The invitations, thank you notes, certificate and take-away slime were a great idea and much admired. Marc made science fun and (although I hate this word) ‘cool’ – as it should be. Marc occupied an average-sized living room with experiment paraphernalia, but left behind no mess - only a roomful of delighted, excited children.
