We invited over 200 Junior Gunners and their families to join us at Emirates Stadium for a haunting Halloween-themed screening of Sunderland v Arsenal! As well as being able to watch Arsenal play on a scarily big screen the families were treated to a whole load of freaky activities: Deadly Dial Square, Chilling Champions and Haunted Highbury were packed out with hair raising football challenges, spooktacular balloon making, ghoulish face painting and gruesome science experiments from Sublime Science. Is this something you can assist us with again? It was very popular last year and we would love to have you on board!

Firstly you were brilliant; the children were enthralled by your act. Even the adults were impressed; we still do not know how you made those smoke rings! The entertainment you provided for our Children’s Christmas party was amazing, the children really were so interested in what you were doing, and letting them have the freshly made sweets was fun, the look on the kid’s faces was priceless. It was fun, wacky and also educational. Thank you I am sure we will use you for our next event.

The "Sublime Scientist Tour of the Museum" brought the Museum's collection of moving toys, most of which usually have to stay behind glass, to life! Sublime Science devised highly visual, exciting yet simple experiments to show audiences of young children and their families what makes our moving toys work!

Museum of Childhood Science Event Review

I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you, not only was it amazing for all the patients, families and staff but it was the perfect ending to our play in hospital week. The experiments were fantastic and had us all intrigued, the patients loved being involved with making and creating science (so did all the nurses!!) Hospitals can often be a scary environment for children but during Fridays sublime science party the patients were happy, relaxed and squealing with delight at the thought of water being poured over some of their family members!! It was very endearing to see the children and their parents forget about their ill health and hospital stay for an hour and just have some fun!

Discovery sponsors an annual programme designed to allow parents to bring their children aged 3+ into work for a day to learn more about Discovery and their parent’s jobs! Sublime Science brought thigs to life with fun science experiments that the children could do themselves. They loved making their slime.
Discovery Channel Kids Day

Discovery Channel Sublime Science Event

We loved all of it...you were great at keeping the kids interested and laughing in equal measures. As we waited for parents to pick them up I asked a cub if he had learned anything and he replied loads and loads. So he will take that back to his friends and school. We would definitely have Sublime Science back in the future and recommend you to anyone else. Fantastic. Thank you.

We loved the range of equipment. The fun element. A young presenter who is great at engaging kids and making the sherbet. Thanks Marc you were great. Seeing the children’s faces light up was a delight. You inspired them to ask questions, encouraged them to have a go and never complained about the mess! I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you! Thanks so much, you were absolutely brilliant and totally surpassed my expectations.

We wanted something fun and educational that would cater for multiple age ranges. Marc also did a similar event for us years ago (before Dragons Den) so we knew the quality of what we were booking!

All of it! The activities were well delivered and were very engaging with children & families. Where do I begin. We've had the most amazing feedback from some attendees. Everyone loved it! Being part of a big public event it went down a storm! It was wonderful to see the interaction with kids and parents too and everyone with their little pots of slime.
Event for Contamac in Saffron Walden with Marvellous Martin and Seismic Steve

I loved the interaction with our SEN children Lesley was exceptionally intuitive and had exquisite ability in engaging with our children and incorporating her science, our children wide ranging disabilities both physical medical and psychological. And yet she managed to interact with each and everyone child. Truly magical! This lady was dynamite absolutely how she managed to engaged with my 23 year old autistic son and his buddy, they were all chatting away like they had been friends for years I was so overwhelmed with this ease and gracious communication skills drawing out conversation from 2 young men who struggle to communicate outside their close friend circle.
Event for Shine South Charity (Lorraine Norman) with Lesley Lightening in Mottisfont

The young people loved all the slime and experiments and actually engaged much more than we thought they would. We cater for young people that have a lot of sensory needs so they all love slime.
Workshop for Disability Challengers, with Prof. Jeremy in Kingston

Most of the children attending were visually impaired, our scientist, Bogna, called me a couple of days before to discuss what she could do to help and was amazing at explaining what she was doing, passing stuff around so the children could feel and making everyone feel included. Bogna and Louis couldn't have been any more helpful, they were absolutely brilliant and I was so impressed.
Fiona Brandford, Workshop for Sight for Surrey, with Bonkers Bee & Lightning Louis

Thanks to Sublime Science for challenging what we think we know about Science with fun and interactive experiments in the lab.  The passionate staff, the amazing science tricks and the fact that your email stated "stay awesome"! The students really loved the workshops.  We have used you pretty much every year since you began and will most likely continue to for the foreseeable future.
Workshops for SEN Students at Ellesmere College, Leicester

What did you like best? Opportunity to design our own day according to our classes and pupil needs. How helpful were the Sublime Science office team? Very helpful and informative. What was the number 1 reason you booked Sublime Science? Ability to design day to suit our pupils - with a range of learning difficulties and special educational needs this was important and enabled us to ensure group sizes and timings were appropriate.
Grace Jackson, Science Event with Radical Rory for Calthorpe Academy

Just wanted to follow up yesterday’s session at Daisy Chain. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! With some trepidation I assure your colleague that the children might start to leave the room as their concentration span is smaller than children with no disabilities, but a whole hour passed and WOW no one left the room!! The sweets and slime making were fantastic, well worth every penny. Thanks again and looking forward to using them again.
Becky, Northampton Special Needs Centre Event.

On Saturday we had our Sublime Science workshop, it was fantastic!!!! Thank you so much for creating such an interesting and exciting activity for the children, they all loved it! We look forward to booking again in the future. Many thanks.

Hi, Just wanted to say how pleased we were with sublime science. My little boy attends a support group for children with Aspergers/anxiety in woolston, Southampton, and the lady who came kept them all entertained and was lovely. They all had a great time. Thanks again.
Lucy Lawless, Woolston, Southampton.

We have some children with limited attention (including ADHD) and her attention was held for the majority of the evening without us having to spend the usual amount of time getting her back to whatever was going on.
Sarah Farquhar, Burbage Brownies Group

The children thoroughly enjoyed the slime and sweet making and all the fun facts.
Kayleigh Bicknell, Workshops at Millbrook Garden Centres in Gravesend and Staplehurst

Sublime Science Events - Frequently Asked Questions:

Where Do You Entertain At These Events?

Don't worry, we've got most of the country covered but here's a quick list of some of the main places that we like to make science awesome.

Greater London, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, East & West Sussex, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, Stevenage, Enfield, Saint Albans, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield, Essex, Chelmsford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford, Northampton, Stratford, Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Stafford, Stoke, Derby, Nottingham, Lincoln, Sheffield, Leeds & York as well as Manchester, Merseyside, Liverpool and the North West.

What Age-range Do You Provide Events Entertainment For?

One of the best things about our events entertainment is that we tailor the content so that it's absolutely spot on for the ages of the children that you have coming along. Generally Sublime Science  is perfect for primary school children, so ages 5-12 years old but we can also adapt what we do if need be.

What Group Sizes Can You Accommodate?

Again, we tailor what we do so that it works for you. The biggest event that we've ever been part of was the Big Bang event where there were over 100,000 children. We've done stage shows for 500 for the National Science Museum and smaller hands-on science workshops for as few as 10 children!

How Can I Get Myself Booked In?

The best thing to do is to pop some details in the form about or give us a call and we can have a chat about how we can best help out.
