I’ll certainly keep your details on file for future performance as we do get asked for science shows on a lot of occasions and it fits in with what we do here very well. their families what makes our moving toys work!
Dionne Alexander, Events Operations Executive, National Science Museum
Thank you so much for your performance at the Top Trump National Schools Tournament. The show was really enjoyable and the kids loved the noisy experiments with the balloons.
Top Trumps National Schools Tornament Final
The "Mad Scientist Tour of the Museum" brought the Museum's collection of moving toys, most of which usually have to stay behind glass, to life! Sublime Science devised highly visual, exciting yet simple experiments to show audiences of young children and their families what makes our moving toys work!
Lisa Yates, Learning Manager, Museum of Childhood, London
We loved all of it...you were great at keeping the kids interested and laughing in equal measures. As we waited for parents to pick them up I asked a cub if he had learned anything and he replied loads and loads. So he will take that back to his friends and school. We would definitely have Sublime Science back in the future and recommend you to anyone else. Fantastic. Thank you.
Lesley Lanfranco, Kirton Cubs Event
We would love for Sublime Science to able to attend our next event as from all our feedback from August’s National Playday you came out as one of the most popular attractions.
Jemma Locke, National Playday Event
Firstly you were brilliant; the children were enthralled by your act. Even the adults were impressed; we still do not know how you made those smoke rings! The entertainment you provided for our Children’s Christmas party was amazing, the children really were so interested in what you were doing, and letting them have the freshly made sweets was fun, the look on the kid’s faces was priceless. It was fun, wacky and also educational. Thank you I am sure we will use you for our next event.
Marie Johnson, Dealership Administrator, Mercedes-Benz of Northampton
One of our most popular exhibition stands on the day was Sublime Science which offered children the opportunity to learn how science can be fun by engaging with them on a level that they enjoy and can appreciate. Activities included rocket launches, gooey slime-making, exploding fountains as well as children making their own sweets as a science experiment!
De Montfort University, Leicester Science Festival
Sublime Science is always one of the most popular activities at our Playday events, and is one of the things children ask to see again and again. It is something unique, and stand out from the multitude of other stalls.
Nothampton Borough Council, "It's Play but out of this world"
Many thanks for offering such a flexible programme to a wide ranging audience. We shall certainly want to book you gain for future events as reports from the girls are excellent 10 out of 10.
Girl Guides, Rainbows, Brownies Centenary Celebration Event, Belvoir Castle
So much shown in only half an hour! The children were totally engaged by the variety of ‘science experiments’, brilliantly delivered in a lively, entertaining and educational way. 10 out of 10! I have and will be recommending Sublime Science! (More information for schools here)
Battling Brook Primary School, Science Assembly Performance
Mad Marc from Sublime science came all the way up to Leeds University to do a special show for all the kids at ‘Bright Beginnings’. All the kids and the staff had a brilliant time, especially the slime making! The kids have been asking for Sublime Science to come back continually and they have all been making slime ever since”
Bright Beginnings, Leeds University, Childcare Special Event
We did an evaluation with the kids about all the activities and Sublime Science got a full house of smiley faces. Well-done they loved it!
Kim Hatton, Wolverhampton, Let Us Play - Children’s Group
Action-outdoor mix take children from deprived backgrounds within the city centre away for weekends full of activities. Sublime Science were one of the highlights of the year. The show they put on was not only great fun for both the kids and adults, but it also opened their eyes as to how science is both practical and fun. I can’t recommend Sublime Science enough!
Tom Gill, Coordinator of Action Outdoor-Mix Charity, John Lees
Wood, Leicester Workshop
Thanks so much for such an amazing show!
Janthea Brigden, Nipperbout Active Childcare, National Caravan Convention
I know they really enjoyed themselves, it was something they had never done before and I would like to thankyou for coming in and entertaining all of us.
Jennt Millington, Loughborough Adult learning Group
Thank you for your excellent workshop during our play scheme!
Carol Pendleton, Stonehouse Gang Holiday Playscheme
The Party went extremely well and many families benefitted from the excellent range of activities you all provided. Some of the feedback we have received includes: Great Day, kids loved it & Mum and Dad enjoyed being pampered too, thank you, Fantastic, all 3 kids had a great time! We really enjoyed Sublime Science, we really enjoyed it all!
Jenny Hurst, Special Matters, Commissioned by Aiming High
The Brownies thought that doing science on the last night of term didn't sound very exciting, until I asked one of the girls that had attended the girl guiding launch party at Belvoir castle what she thought of it. No words were necessary (just as well as she had her mouth full at the time!) the huge grin that came over her face answered all the other girls’ questions about whether it would be fun or not. We have some children with limited attention (including ADHD) and her attention was held for the majority of the evening without us having to spend the usual amount of time getting her back to whatever was going on
Sarah Farquhar, Burbage Brownies Group
Just to say a big thank you for the fabulous 'Sublime Science' presentation at Daventry Library yesterday. Chaotic Clare was excellent and really engaged the mixed age range of children and their parents. One of the parents was a science teacher who commented on the soundness of the scientific principles being demonstrated in such a fun way! Also thank you to the support staff who were always friendly and helpful when I contacted them. I hope to be in touch again about the possibility of using Sublime Science in the future.
Linda Hobbs, ESCO - Daventry Town & Rural Schools Clusters
Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the Sublime Science workshop can't wait to show the children how to make slime. I think it's brilliant what you do and so much fun and learning for the children well done and keep it up it's brilliant. Take care.
Janette White at the Northamptonshire Childminding Association Seminar
You engaged all the children involving them with the experiments, gave the children plenty to do, they all liked the sweet making and all seemed happy with their gloop they could take home. I learnt how to blow up a wind sock with 1 breath. It was very informative whilst being fun for all ages - youngest 6 up to 12yrs. We should have booked you for longer as the kids didn't want to go! I'll gladly recommend you to my other extended services colleagues and recommend you to my school heads. Thank you for also putting the show on at Moulton and Brixworth, I understand they were a great success too.
Trish Jolley, Long Buckby library Visit
Just to say a big 'thank-you' for your science workshop in July at The Grange. It proved very popular by children and staff - so maybe we may be able to have you back again. Many thanks again.
Sally Coleman, RGS The Grange School Visit
When I asked the children what they thought about the show they all said how good it had been and that they had really enjoyed it. But they all liked different things about it, so they were all happy. The children all gave positive feedback, as did our helpers. They really enjoyed the show and the hands on aspects of it. They all said how much fun it was. Thank you. A future booking a very high probability.
Nicky Hill, Earls Barton Playscheme, Northampton
Just wanted to follow up yesterday’s session at Daisy Chain. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!
With some trepidation I assure your colleague that the children might start to leave the room as their concentration span is smaller than children with no disabilities, but a whole hour passed and WOW no one left the room!! The sweets and slime making were fantastic, well worth every penny. Thanks again and looking forward to using them again,
Becky, Northampton Special Needs Centre Event
All was very good. The kids loved it, all ages, (the grown ups too) Thank you again and hope to see you next year, :)
Jodie Stones-Wragg, Fab Playscheme, Loughborough
The interactive activities and level of professionalism that we had from the Sublime staff was brilliant, they engaged with the children and young people in a fun and friendly manner and made Science exciting for everyone! Fantastic service, can not think of any improvements.

Just a fast thank you for today... all the kids are asking if you are coming back!!!!! They really enjoyed it. the goo went down a treat. Hopefully we will be in contact you regarding next year. Thank you for a lovely morning.
Jodie, committee and all the kids at Fab Playscheme
Chapel library commented on how good Lively Laura was with children & adults, + that she made the experiments fun. Really good activity for getting boys into the library. Bakewell Library reported that they had a full house and could have given out twice as many tickets. They said that all the mums and children thought it was excellent & were disappointed that it wasn’t happening every week of the holidays!
Sarah Watson, Librarian
The presenter was very good with the children. Entertaining them and getting them to participate in experiments. The whole time the presenter was there, she was fully engaged with children and young people, who in turn found the experiments captivating. Well worth the money and nice to have something different at a fun day.
Susan Ward-Rice, King George V Playing fields, Fun Day Event
Mad Marc was very good with the children, and got everyone involved. The children were glued to their seats and loved every minute of it. Made science fun! A lot of adults commented on how much fun it was to watch and thought Mad Marc did a brilliant job. Would love to have another session.
Amy Scriven, Weston Favell Library
Thank you! We were most impressed with your show and the children loved it!! It was amazing how their attention was kept and they loved taking part! I'm sure we'll see you again!
Belmont House Hotel, Wedding Children’s Entertainment
The interaction with the staff and children was outstanding and the different scientific activities kept the children mesmerised. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Lesley Loughran, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School
The children thoroughly enjoyed the Sublime Science workshop yesterday as did the staff. The whole thing was so entertaining and I think making slime was the icing on the cake for the children. It was such a great opportunity for the children to get involved with science especially something so different and fun. We will look to book you again next year so that more of the children can enjoy your workshop. Many thanks
Beki Kelly, Teacher at Witton Middle School
The variety of experiments, the freedom the children were given to experiment, the friendliness of the presenter. Thank you very much, children of all ages were able to enjoy the experiments. We will definitely recommend you and use you again at future events!
Jackie Line, Northamptonshire County Council Event
Mike was fantastic with all the children and made it fun... yet informative, The children loved making the goo and sweets...I don’t think would be anything to make it better...We have used sublime science for 2 years running and would love to have them back next year....
Jodie Stones-Wragg, Boothwood School, Loughborough Summer Club
The feedback we received was not only did the kids enjoy it, but also it was delivered with enthusiasm, this is something that we shall use again for our large village events. We are planning a large music festival next year, a two day event, we would like to see what you can offer, us for this event, we will have a funfair and big top circus, so we also want some more entertainment, we may also need a similar workshop that we booked this year for the village as well.
Michelle Gibbins, Northampton Village Fete Organiser
It was fantastic and we really did enjoy it, you managed to keep them engrossed throughout and they all seemed to have loved the slime! You were fun, entertaining and extremely patient! So thank you for an excellent show.
Harkamal Flora, Youth Group
Mad Marc was friendly and engaged the children all the way through the session. They were even interested to watch him carry the boxes of equipment and set up the experiments! It was great to see the children’s faces as Mad Marc carried out the experiments and to hear them laugh and gasp in amazement!
