How To Make British Science Week A Roaring Success!
Our favourite week of the year is British Science Week!
It's an action packed week of bringing our unique science workshops and spectacular science shows to schools up and down the country!
But it's also our busiest week of the year too!
After more than 38,000 Sublime Science events and having taken on the Dragons on National TV we do book up fast and science week is always phenomenally busy.
Not only that but we also have great pleasure of working with the British Science Association and National Science Museum as well as being featured on the BBC, ITV and Telegraph too!

(Normally from someone who's left it too late and wants to be absolutely certain for next year!)
British Science Week Funding!
Since you’re here, forgive me for assuming but you’re probably planning on taking part in British Science Week 2025.
The official British Science Week 2025 theme will be announced soon and we want to help you make it the best BSW yet!
Regardless of what you’re planning on doing, you will likely need some help! The good news is, here at "The Lab", we're here to take all the stress, mess and hassle out of organising science week workshops for teachers!
Can we help you Apply for British Science Week Funding?
The British Science Association have a number of grant schemes available to support British Science Week activities. There are two AWESOME grant schemes available to help you fund your activities: one for schools (for up to £700), and one for community groups (for up to £2,000).
Kick Start Grants are available for schools in challenging circumstances to organise events for British Science Week 2025. This can be up to £300 (Kick Start Grant) or even up to £700 if they also include the local community (Kick Start More Grant).
The BSA are also offering Community Grants of between £500 and £2,000 for community groups who work with audiences who are traditionally under-represented and are not currently engaged in a science activity.
