Are you a performer, presenter, or entertainer who loves working with children? If you can hold a room, think on your feet, and leave a crowd of excited eight-year-olds (and their parents) genuinely wowed - we want to hear from you.
Sublime Science is one of the UK's leading children's science entertainment companies, and we're looking for confident, energetic people to join our network of freelance presenters. We deliver science parties, school shows, holiday clubs and more to children across the country - and we need brilliant performers to bring it all to life.
No background in science needed as full training is provided. You do need a car and availability at the weekends and a passion to make slime, launch rockets and make science awesome!

How Does It Work?
This is freelance performing work, fully supported by our experienced office team who handle all bookings and logistics. You'll touch base with the customer in the week before each event, then turn up ready to perform.
A typical event involves presenting to a group of 10 to 30 children aged 5–12 for around 90 minutes, with time before and after for setup and pack-down. All events are within your region. Full training is provided from day one — no scientific background needed.
Flexible and bookings-based, it's ideal for fitting around a performing career, teaching, or other commitments. As one of our presenters puts it: "Working with Sublime Science isn't like working at all — all of the organisation is done for you, all that remains is to have fun and engage children in science.

Who Are Sublime Science?
Sublime Science was founded with the intention of showing children just how awesome science can be! Best known for firing smoke rings at the Dragons on Dragons' Den (& securing investment!).
Her Majesty the Queen recognised our work with a Queen's Award for Innovation and we've had the honour of making science awesome for more than one million children.
We bring our unique blend of Slimetastic fun to after-school clubs, school visits, fetes events and festivals and anywhere and everywhere else!
