Become a Children's Science Entertainer
Flexible, freelance performing work across the UK
Can you hold a room, think on your feet, and leave eight-year-olds (and their parents) genuinely wowed? We want to hear from you.
We're one of the UK's leading children's science entertainment companies, and we're hiring confident, energetic freelance presenters to deliver science parties, school workshops and festival shows across the country.
No science background needed – full training provided. You'll need a car, weekend availability, and a passion for making slime, launching rockets, and turning science into the most fun thing in a kid's week.
How it works
This is freelance performing work, with our office team handling every booking and all the logistics. You'll be be in regular contact with the team, touch base with the customer the week before each event, and then turn up ready to perform.

A typical event: 10–30 children aged 5–12, around 90 minutes, plus set-up and pack-down. All events are within your region. Bookings-based and flexible – perfect for fitting around a performing career, teaching, or other commitments.
"Perfect weekend performing work for theatre and science people. You just say in advance what dates you're free."
