"So much shown in only half an hour! The children were totally engaged by the variety of ‘science experiments’, brilliantly delivered in a lively, entertaining and educational way.  10 out of 10! I have and will be recommending Sublime Science"

Interactive Science Workshops For Schools

Primary School Science Workshop

We all know that children love to get hands-on and "DO" science experiments themselves as well as see incredible science demonstrations and that's exactly what our Sublime Science Workshops offer.

Instead of going on an excursion why not let us come to you? Have an interactive science workshop instead of a trip to a museum. There are no transportation issues to worry about, the risk assessment is already done and this way the children get to be more hands-on and conduct their own experiments.

These workshops also work really well to motivate gifted and talented students or just as a boost to keep the children as excited about science as we are.

How does the Sublime Science Workshop work?

The workshops typically last for one hour (although they can be adjusted to fit around your timetable) with up to 30 children in each session. The children will be challenged to think by "magic" tricks and exciting demonstrations as well as conducting their own experiments. (Making Sweets & Slime)

More Primary School Testimonials!

Thank you so much for the workshops today!  They were beyond even our high expectations. My daughter told me in the car on the way home that she had changed her mind about science.  After your workshop she decided it wasn't boring after all and now she wants to be a scientist.  From what I hear from the headmistress, that kind of comment was heard all over the school this afternoon! We will certainly be recommending you!
Emma Philpott, St James' C of E Primary School

Engaged the children for over an hour.  A big task for 4-7 year olds.  Exciting equipment and important safety messages.  Thank you, we loved it – very appropriate for us.
Lauren Burns, All Saints Primary, Elston School

The whole show was fantastic and Mad Marc had a lovely rapport with the children. The children were in awe of what they saw and I think the show helped us to accomplish two of our main objectives for the week: 1) to show the children that science can be fun and 2) to spark interest 'How did he do that?'
Fiona Maciel, Teacher, Nottingham Academy Primary School

Well presented, giving a wow factor. A well balanced mixture of interactive and demonstration activities. Kept the children entertained in an environment with children who are very difficult to keep entertained!  An absolutely fantastic way to start our first science week! The feedback to me from staff and pupils alike has been so positive, it gave a feel-good start to the week which in turn gave the pupils a positive way of looking at science, well done!
Mark Wright, Teacher at Phoenix EBD School

The interaction with the staff and children was outstanding and the different scientific activities kept the children mesmerised.  Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Lesley Loughran, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School

The children thoroughly enjoyed the Sublime Science workshop yesterday as did the staff. The whole thing was so entertaining and I think making slime was the icing on the cake for the children.  It was such a great opportunity for the children to get involved with science especially something so different and fun. We will look to book you again next year so that more of the children can enjoy your workshop. Many thanks
Beki Kelly, Teacher at Witton Middle School

Just to say a big 'thank-you' for your science workshop in July at The Grange. It proved very popular by children and staff - so maybe we may be able to have you back again.  Many thanks again.any thanks
