We’ve Made Science Awesome For More Than 500,000 Children!

I was just thinking:

“maaan, we’ve made a lot of slime and launched a lot of rockets over the years, I wonder how many kids we’ve reached!”

My scientific and curious mind got the better of me and I got myself a strong cup of coffee and I got the old abacus out (alright, alright, I used a calculator!) and started looking back through all our “stuff” CRMs, Excel spreasheets, Accounting systems, the lot, and started to do some figuring out.

I checked triple checked my numbers and then checked them again for good measure.

I couldn’t believe what I was looking at.

I know we’ve been incredible busy but still we’ve definitely, officially, made science awesome for more than 500,000 children.

My mind is officially boggled.

When I started Sublime Science from my parents’ spare room with a £1,750 Prince’s Trust loan I never imagined we’d make it this far.

To the ever awesome Sublime Science Team, our partners, customers, mentors, Dragons, friends and family and everyone who has helped out on this incredible journey I just wanted to say one more “Thank You”.

P.S. For Maths Nerds...

(Actually looks like we’ve made science awesome for a fair few more than half a million. I had to use some averages so I rounded down, a lot. So this is a massively conservative estimate. I didn’t count a bunch of older systems we used to use so I’ll come back with an update with a more accurate figure but we’re definitely well on our way to reaching our first million children.)
