Sublime Science Invited to the Houses of Parliament!
Wow, what an honour!
It was absolutely incredible to be invited to the Houses of Parliament.
The whole event was to celebrate small business in the UK. Can't believe I'm typing this but the reception was in the Houses of Parliament, Westminster.
The event was put together as a part of Meta's Good Ideas Studios who'd partnered up with Small Business Britain and Be the Business to discover how to help and support small business in the UK.
It was an awesome opportunity to learn more about the mind-boggling technology that's being developed that will be quickly coming our way.
As well as to have the pleasure of networking with some of the most successful small businesses in the country and learning from their experiences. We can take those learnings and apply them to inspire even more children to discover how awesome science can be.
Not only that but it was a chance to meet with MPs and ministers and learn more about how Sublime Science might be able to help.
There were some pretty senior folks from the government and Meta and it was awesome to meet them and speak about how Sublime Science might be able to help. A real pleasure to meet with: Kevin Hollinrake MP - Secretary Of State For Enterprise, Markets And Small Business. Seema Malhotra MP - Shadow Minister For Business And Consumers and Steve Hatch - VP Meta Northern Europe.
Thanks so much to everyone at the Houses of Parliament for making it such an awesome experience. Thanks so much to Meta and Small Business Britain for pulling the event together.
And, of course, thanks so much to everyone who's supported Sublime Science. There has been so much support over the years but particular thanks must go to:
Our (awesome!) customers, without you, none of this would be possible. Our incredible team of Sublime Scientists who do such a fabulous job of inspiring children to discover how awesome science can be. The whole Sublime Team for their incredible efforts to move things forward.
Thanks so much once again!
Stay awesome,
Mad Marc
